Unwind at Shuttocks Wood, our South Shropshire Bed and Breakfast.
Expect a warm welcome
with a cup of tea and a slice of cake (or perhaps something a little
stronger to get your stay off on the right foot), when you arrive at our South Shropshire b&b.
Once you have settled in and you are ready to go out in the evening, you can eat locally in a
selection of pubs or go further afield for more exotic fare - South Shropshire has many excellent places to eat.
If you want to stay in, supper can be provided at Shuttocks Wood b&b by prior arrangement with a
menu to suit all tastes.
Then maybe after supper or when you get
back, see if you can spot the badgers who live behind the house in the
woods.
Next day wake to the sound of the countryside with birdsong, woodpeckers, sheep and
cattle. Stroll down for a leisurely breakfast made from local
Shropshire produce or, if you wish, have a light continental snack. If
you prefer to do it yourself then stay in the self catering annexe.
Then get planning what to do for the day - maybe some cycling or walking or
riding - perhaps a shopping or sightseeing trip to Ludlow or
Shrewsbury - for those who are a bit more adventurous try
hang-gliding or soaring. If you need a packed lunch or supper,
that can be arranged at Shuttocks Wood b&b.
Finally, perhaps after a nightcap, crash in a kingsize bed for a good night's
sleep and then do it all over again tomorrow. Life can be so tough!

About
Shuttocks Wood Bed and Breakfast.
The south facing house, built in 1988, is of Scandinavian design offering spacious triple glazed centrally
heated en-suite b&b accommodation. We are situated in the south Shropshire hills, one of the most attractive parts of Britain. The house is set in woodland backing onto
Norbury Hill and the Stiperstones with beautiful views to the Long Mynd and south towards Clun.
The two acre grounds are being tamed at present. A family of badgers live in a large sett in the woods, and there is plenty of space for
relaxation or exploration depending on age. However, there is a pond and small children would need some supervision.
There is ample
parking and level access for those with a disability.
